Sam is a 24 year old from Wilmslow, in Cheshire. He has recently graduated from Coventry University with an honours degree in Motorsport Engineering
Sam started racing back in 2008 with the Ducati Sporting Club (DSC) in the DesmoDue series on a Ducati Monster 583. In 2009, Sam returned to the DesmoDue championship in class B (carburettor models), which he won in spectacular style. 2010 was the start of bigger things, Sam was elevated from clubman racing to the National Superstock 1000 class, a support series for British Superbikes. Sam started the 2010 season on a Ducati 1198S, but changed mid-season to a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, a bike he continued to race throughout the 2011 season as well. In 2012, Sam rode a Kawasaki ZX10R, further improving his standing in the superstock series, with a number of top 20 finishes. Sam will continue to race in this series in 2013 on the Kawasaki ZX10R.
